Pink Pant(her)

As you read this, we’ll be firmly in vacation mode up at the lake. For those of you that know lake life, you know it’s the best life. There is such an innate peacefulness that is so restorative to the soul. We are both looking forward to some quality family time, lots of pontoon time, and eating some good food.

Our family is a group of planners. So you better believe we sat down and put together a meal plan list and reworked it a couple of times until it was perfect. We have totally embraced the Google Docs/Sheets, as it is so easy to share between everyone and makes for such easy updating. Some of the highlights of the meals include, Meatball Subs, Steak and Scallops, and Jerk Chicken! We’re going to eat like royalty and probably gain a few pounds in the process.

To counteract that, we do plenty of moving around, whether we’re swimming, biking, running, makeshift lifting sesh, or just playing yard games. You better believe we’re sleeping well at night with all that fresh air!

You know what wouldn’t work well up north? These wonderful pink pants! I found these beauties on ASOS and in the tall section. Luckily I was in the market for work pants so I snatched up these, the lovely culottes from this post, these, and this green pair from this post. Call it a successful purchase because I kept all of them.

Asos has really been upping their workwear for us leggy ladies. I had tried purchasing some Gap/Banana Republic pant options, as well as Express work pants, and neither of them felt quite perfect.

Express pants are not quite long enough for me but perfect for Caitlin; so if they just added an extra long I’d be one happy lady! Caitlin wore Express pants in this post here.

Pairing the pants with this bodysuit was unexpected for me, considering I would never just wear it to my workplace, but a different event and I feel like a million bucks! It has been a champion in my closet and was also a find from ASOS.

The heels I found at Nordstrom Rack, and they are my ideal heel height. I consider them my go to wedding shoe option. They also are the perfect nude color and they go with everything!

We hope we gave you a new place to consider checking out for your professional wardrobe, let us know what you think below!
