Guess what?! It’s swimsuit season! For real though, if you live in the frozen tundra as we do, it feels necessary to escape to warmer climates every Winter. Plus, the retail cycles always begin dropping their new swimsuits when it’s still nasty outside. It’s smart to start scoping out your options now, even if you’re waiting until Summer to actually wear them. We were gifted a whole bunch of goodies from Cupshe and we are pumped to be able to share our tall review of Cupshe swimsuits!

If you haven’t heard of Cupshe before, let us give you the rundown. Cupshe is a beachwear brand that has been around since 2015! Their swimsuits and clothing are inspired by and created for the most vibrant, fun, and fearless women all over the world. Cupshe’s community is built for women to be confident, comfort, and style all in one! Their designs include special fabrics for every body shape, and their size range is from XS to 4X. It is exciting to do a tall review of Cupshe swimsuits and put their inclusivity to the test. They don’t just design cute swimsuits, Cupshe also has various loungewear and dresses.

We deliberately selected a variety of swimsuits, including a one piece and several higher waists to see if they would measure up on us. Honestly, we’re happy to report we can share some clear winners with you all. Plus Cupshe is very reasonably priced (average swimsuit is under $30!), so no one will break the bank which can be the case when shopping specialized! Check out our tall review of Cupshe swimsuits below.

Marsala Twist High Waisted Bikini

At this point you know Caitlin and I have separate style preferences with generous overlap. This swimsuit is a key piece that caught both of our eyes. We loved the higher waist cut of the bottoms and the flattering cross over top. To our surprise it fit the same way as it’s pictured on the model! It was great for both our larger and smaller busts as well, which normally isn’t the case. We both sized up to XL.

Oaklyn Floral Buttoned Shirt Dress

Technically, this is a dress but Caitlin ordered it with the idea of wearing it as a cover up. As you can tell, the length is much more suited to a good cover up length as well! It has a fun vibrant print that paired super well with the Marsala bikini above (as pictured together). For any ladies shorter, it would be a nice dress for casual use but for us, we’ll stick with layering over swim suits! Caitlin is wearing a size large and definitely no need to size up, it is a nice generous cut.

Sleeveless V-Neck Cover Up

Another piece that we both liked, specifically for the midi length. The crochet/70’s vibe is very much in right now and this lightweight knit is a great cover up. I will say, the slit on both sides hit me in the widest part of my hips so ideally I’d like that sewn down further. It is super soft and comfortable. We both went with a size large for this cover up and again no need to size up at all!

Black Knotted Scalloped One Piece Swimsuit

This one piece swimsuit was probably the most surprising win for Caitlin of the bunch! Go in with low expectations and be pleasantly surprised (the story of tall shopping online LOL). But seriously this suit fits perfectly, no tugging or flattening due to lack of length. Caitlin probably has the same length torso as me at 6’4 or very close so you know it’s nice and long. This suit hits all the right notes, it shows off a little skin but still maintains a comfortable coverage. She did order a size XL for this one piece (so size up one!).

Green Solid And Leafy Print Bikini

A prime example of the bust not working well would be this suit. It was Caitlin’s choice, but ended up fitting my smaller chest much better, so we traded! It doesn’t have adjustable strap length, so that needs to be taken into consideration as well, but I don’t feel like it is too short on me at all. The top has some built in padding/shape and I love that it has the little lace up detail in the back as well. I’m all about fun prints and colors in bikinis so the bottoms on this swimsuit are ideal. It hits the moderate coverage box with a wider band on the hip, which works great for me chasing around my baby! Also size up to XL on this swimsuit.

Yellow And Blue Leaves Print Bikini

Caitlin has been loving the high waisted bikini trend and this swimsuit combined it with a lower cut top which is perfect for avoiding some of those crazier tan lines. The yellow top has a very little bit of padding to it and the back has the lace up for adjusting tightness in the top. We find that kind of detail valuable because we sometimes are two different sizes on top and bottom so you can make sure both fit well! Caitlin also went with an XL and as you can tell the bottoms hit in the same spot as the model. Super win!

Flourishing Floral Scalloped Bralette and Cheeky High Waist Set

Unfortunately I think this one might be currently out of stock, after checking the site. I picked this originally and Caitlin ended up trying it on and we realized my chest would be out of my depth LOL so she kept it. It is such a fun color and probably complements her tan better than my skin tone would. Plus the scallop detail adds some visual interest. Hopefully it will come back in stock because it is super comfortable and flattering. Plus the waist hits in the right spot! We also went with an XL for sizing info.

Bright Floral Print Bikini

I like to call this one my sporty mom bikini. The top is secure enough to scramble around in and bend over to play in the sand. The bikini bottoms are definitely cheekier/less coverage but I like that! The v cut makes it hit higher for that ultra leggy look as well! The bright punchy colors are so great and everyone kept commenting that they loved the yellow bottoms. Also wearing a size XL and very happy with that choice!

Red Gingham Smocked Bikini

This was an unexpected favorite choice of mine. I’ve never had such a wide banded top but I think the shirring of it worked way better than I thought. The bottoms also are a true high waist above my belly button. I know a lot of women prefer that full coverage and you would love this suit! Plus we love gingham and this bright red is always a go to for me. Again, wearing a size XL for this swimsuit.

Ayana Lace-Up Backless Maxi Slip Dress

Lastly, THIS DRESS. Obviously it is a maxi. But when I saw it, I knew I wanted to gamble and hoped it would hit the perfect midi length on me. Luckily I was right and it is the ideal length! It is a lightweight silky number that I am excited to pack on any beach vacation as well as wear all summer long. The lace-up back also helps the straps/coverage adjust for the perfect fit on the bodice and length. Love this dress and wearing a size large, no need to size up. Worth noting there is no stretch.

All in all, we are super excited with our first tall review of Cupshe swimsuits! They came through really well and I think for the high level we’d just note that we sized up for all swimsuits and kept true to size for cover ups and dresses, which worked out really well. The really nice thing about Cupshe is all the reviews and pictures by real people! So as always, we encourage you to read the reviews on the website when figuring out your best size. You can check out our other swimsuit round ups, here. Stay tuned for a couple of other swimsuit companies, coming soon! Lastly, we’re always here to answer any further questions as well!
